This is Pink Lake again (see 'stick, reflected'), which is green in the summer, but blue at other times, except now when its beautifully decked out in fall colours.

OHhh these colours are just wonderful! Too bad the sky was so "washed out"....in the water it is reflected great...I've had this happen to my skies at times..not sure what to do about it..but I love the reflection of these gorgeous colours...verena

This is a well composed photo. Wonder if you have used a filter to cut the reflections and glare.I agree with Verena about the sky. Maybe adjusting of the filter can help or some post process can do the trick. If you adjusted the sky color little bit to mach the reflection on the water it might turn good.

Thanks! I agree about the sky. No filter was used, but the light was a bit flat; kind of a weak sun. I had tried (to no effect) to tweak it up a bit with a basic saturation adjustment. I will try a more selective approach on the sky alone. Thanks for the advice. - Dave

These colors are just drop dead gorgeous and the way they are reflected in the water is breathtakingly beautiful. I so agree with the sky comments though. Would love to see you be able to *magically* produce a brtilliant blue sky to top off a brilliant capture! Well done & thank you :`~)

Hi Dave, I am with Mimi, the colors are drop dead gorgeous!! I can't imagine the colors being a richer red, and the greens equally intense! I noticed quickly that the water further intensified these colors, rather than fading them, as does often happen!! High marks from me and into my favs, where the image will rest well! Smiling! Sincerely, Marilyn

Wow, that is just gorgeous!! I love the colours you have captured - living in Australia, we don't get the orange autumns that you obviously do!!! The way you have captured the reflections in the water is wonderful, it's such a serene, peaceful moment. High marks from me!

What a reflection and colors, amazing.
The only thing from keeping this from being a masterpiece is the lack of something in the foreground for more perspective and depth.
But still a high score from me!
