Another one of my flower pictures. I hope ya'll aren't getting tired of 'em! This one's been tweaked a bit. I usually don't mess around with my pictures unless I have a specific change I want to make to the picture in mind, but I'm starting to see the positive affect of opening them in PS without having a specific goal in mind. :-) Critiques are always welcome!

I think that this time of year is a good one to be experimenting when it's dark out and there's not a lot of interesting natural things shoot. Besides, half the fun of Photoshop is "messing" around. I like the effect you've created here...keep on messin' :)PJ

This is beautiful! Great work! The contrasting colors just compliment themselves, and the green center of the flower gives a strong focal point. Beautiful!

I lik PS too! This is pretty good, it doesn't look overly obvious that you fiddled with it. I really like the pattern in the middle of the flower. When are you gonna start uploading stuff taken with your new camera?

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

This looks fantastic! Color wise there is so much to see here, the way the colors blend together is amazing. The photo almost has a dreamy type feel too it.

Great PS work, have fun tweaking stuff!

Really great. I'm not a flower person, but this is nice. Love the purple-white on the petals, im a purple person. Great job.

This one is the best you have put up yet!! It is simply gorgeous. The colors are vibrant, the focus is spectacular, and the contrast causes the picture to almost jump out! I especially like how the light violet and red of the flower almost glow amidst the greenish blue background. And how the petals form lines leading from all sides of the picture the the brilliant red center of the flower. Awesome! Great job!

Always a pretty blossom. I like the way you have softened the image.

Overal a nice colourful photo, needs to be a bit more in focus, but apart from that, a nice job..................
