Sometimes we have to sacrifice some clarity in order to get a shot with terrific content, like this one. I've had to close crop several of mine recently that weren't as sharp as I would have liked, having been taken from a distance, in order to have the photo I wanted for submission. If you hadn't done the same, we wouldn't be looking at this great contrast of nature and man, the hunting bird pausing to eat at a hotel. I just hope he got the frequent-flier rate for his meal. Nikoneer stated it well. You must be right by the water. As far as the cropping goes, you know what they say: " Crop crop, fizz fizz, Oh what a relief it is." (Variation on a theme....by me.) LOL.
