Here's a small scale model of what the Tower of London looked like back in 1547. You can see the Whit Tower in the center of the bottom photo, The main thing that you can see that is the Waterloo Barracks which today is located to the behind the White Tower. You can also see the moat that has since been filled in with earth .... Enjoy and thanks for your comments and thoughts ....

It really looks like a city Jelly. I am amazed at what they could do in 1547. Nice shot.

Boy that's a lot of toilet water down there around the walls. In the comic strip "The Wizard of Id," the king keeps monsters in the moat. With that must poo in that much water, I think the water would be more dangerous that a monster. I've liked models, miniatures of almost anything, since I was a kid. This is neat-o.
