Thanks for your comments ! It warms me up... this is one of my first posts here !
I'm afraid I dont have it in a higher resolution, i am used to shooting at 1024*768. I could do it at 2048*1536, but the max res here is lower than that (1600*1200) , so... And i've got some nice pics with portrait proportions, so it doesnt fit with this wallpaper-dedicated site (great and beautiful site, by the way)
nice shot, you should look into some software like photoshop, cuz then you can get around those size issues, and resize images however you want, but then you can also edit them, like in this one, i probably would have take out the two bouys just to clean it up a bit, but amazing picture
Way to go, elie! You did it again. This shot has amazing clarity, and the richness of the colors contrasted with the stark mountains makes for an excellent image.
d-spin, could you give a tutorial on removing stuff from images using Photoshop? I would love to be able to remove powerlines and such from my shots, but when I do, Photoshop always leaves visible remnants. Maybe a caedes discussion group?
i know photoshop, and i can resize my images, no problem... the thing about resizing my images is that i don't have this photo larger.
Erasing the 2 people ?? On the contrary, when i took this picture, i thought that they were contributing to the beauty of this landscape, because they bring kind of a human aspect to it (furthermore they're lovingly huging) ; otherwise it would look empty, and not "cleaned up", i think...
Especially because they are right at a key point of the photo (1/3 1/3), our eyes are attracted to this point, then they make the picture well balanced, i think...
But i am perhaps wrong, and i am open to any comment, especially when about how to improve my pictures !
So thanks a lot for this comment !
Wonderful picture here, everyone else here done spoke my words. I can see your c-index climbing on this one. Hope my vote helps too. Saved in fav's. Thanks for sharing this one. Wish I were there also!
i wasnt suggesting that you remove the people, just the buoys in the water, i created a little tutorial for regmar using this image, so you might just want to see what can be done with it
Great one! Was there a number of years ago during our O.E. and loved Annecy more than any other place in Europe (almost). Now found a place on my desktop. (And I prefer the original, rather than version 2)
Tks for posting such a peaceful shot. Will put onto my desktop this morning to enjoy over coffee.
