This is also taken at Pérouges (France), an old small city which has been kept as it was centuries ago : stone walls, antique lights, no cars, nothing modern ... Jump back into the French past ! Other views : Façade d'une maisonnette - Au bel oiseau

My alley has weeds, not flowers, and the houses look no where near as beautiful. Kudos, Ellie!

Nice detail in the doors and windows. I like the perspective you gave us. You can almost feel the effort it takes to get up the hill, day after day.

we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars

Beautiful and timeless. The way the street and buildings are seamless really speaks of the age.

That is quaint architecture. I really like the 'closeness' of the shot-framing, it gives us the opportunity to absorb all the details of the scene. Love the cobbled path & (especially) the doors & the windows & the very bright red flowers... What Im trying to say is - Bravo!

What a peaceful shot. The colors are great - the reds just pop, and the stone is so warm. The detail is wonderful - the intricate door, wooden planks -- I love the textures in this photo!

Liked it. I wish I could see a little more of the alley, perhaps going upward a little bit. All in all, an excellent shot. Félicitations!
