As I sat on Bodega Head watching the sun go down, the colors along the shore got more and more dramatic. Thanks to all who view and comment. Nikon D80

Mercy. Beautiful CA. Love this. I really like the various shades of rustic brown on the rocks. I think it could be lightened and sharpened a little but, still beautiful as is. It's a keeper.

Once again, it has lost a little color from the original after uploading. I have also posted it on my flickr site here: http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=340880414&size=l and there the true colors show better. I tried lightening it, but it looked unnatural. This is just how it looked and I found it to be gorgeous as is.

Hello Donna.....This picture reminds me so much of the Cornish coast....The most important part of every picture is the light. It affects the appearance of everything you photograph and you have captured the cliffs bathed in the beautiful light...Well done....All the best...Mick.

the hard dusk light really adds a dramatic touch to this.
fortunately only the light has changed, not the shapes :o)

I see what you mean. I just visited the flicker image. I was just wondering if you could tweak it in PS ...but I suppose not. Too bad, but this is lovely as well. Both of them look like soft paintings are are very lovely..thanks for this eye candy :)PJ

Those cliffs are massive. This could be an English coastline. In any case, it's very beautiful.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
