At Ft. Ross, along the Sonoma (CA) coast, we walked out the point and found some serious wave and seagull action. I have lived within short driving distance of the Pacific all my life, north and south, and I have never seen it look this color before. It really was this color! Something about the weather conditions, I guess, but I just can't get over this color. Hope you like it too. Thanks for the views and comments.

It is so difficult to capture the movement and texture of the ocean, but you have done it wonderfully. The color, the composition, the depth, the clarity are all truly excellent.

The color is awesome indeed Donna, just striking, we are used to this color in the pacific though, (Micronesia, Polynesia, the Hawaian Chain) but not so close up shore in California. So i understand your amazement ! As said, striking shot here.

This would have to be one of the best surf shots i have seen in a very long time... great capture of movement and the colour is fantastic... we have that colour where i am... always amazing me how blue and clear it is... very well done..
