My favorite climbing rose is blooming again and it always cheers me up. My son, a U.S. Marine, also came home last night after being away for almost a year. That cheered me up, too. So I felt it was time for a bright, happy rose pic. Thanks to all who view and comment.

A beautiful rose and a climber too. This has to look amazing where ever you have it climbing! Such wonderful colors in one rose! The capture is beautifully focused. God bless your son and keep him safe.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A real stunner Donna. The clarity and composition are amazing and the colors so bright and beautiful. Magnificent job you've done here and what a joy it must be to have your Marine back home. Thank him for me as well. Thanks.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

This is lovely. My neighbor has roses. I'd have to retire to spend as much time as he does trying to keep them alive in Florida. Very nicely done.

This is one of the best roses I have ever seen. It is perfectly exposed and that is not always a simple matter for something that is all red. I did not know you had a son in the marines. May God keep him safe!
