Some more blooms on my Freisinger Morgenrote climbing rose. When this rose blooms, the whole yard lights up. All the roses have finished their first flush now and it will be a few weeks before I have more rose pics. Thanks to all who view and comment.

Donna, in my country (Holland) it's a common use to give tulips a name. They are often called after members of our Royal family or even celebrities. Reading your description I've see that it's by roses the same as this rose has got a German name ('Morning sky of Freisingen'). Watching your image, it's clear to me why this rose was given this name. Beautiful rose and beautiful captured. Regards, Cornelius

Wow, with these roses, you don't need solar lighting in your garden! They are brilliant and it is unusual to see those two colors together in one rose, but I am not a rose expert, but I know what I like and I like these!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It's just gorgeous. That and what has already been said sums it up. Just a sumptuous shot, my dear.

Donna,
I just saw these on the front page and had to comment. They are stunning! I don't think I've ever seen such beautifully colored roses on Caedes or in real life. I'm going to have to tinker with your image to make it fit on my desktop, but it is worth doing. Thank you for presenting this lovely picture.
