I decided to go back to the garden today. I don't want to lose my place in the foofy club, after all. Just another rose... this one is called... you guessed it -- Escapade. Thanks to all who view and comment.
Beautiful, Donna, and very good work. I downloaded the largest version and cropped it to the very center, just so I could marvel at the detail you captured at the tips of those filaments. (Are the filaments called stamens? Are the tips called anthers?)
Oh cool! The center looks like beehives mounted on little poles. Terrific arrangement with the two rose heads stepping in on the left while the subject pushes the right side of the frame. The yellow-green of the background is a perfect setting. Very, very nice!
"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
Oh no don't loose your place in the foofy club, heaven forbid. I don't know where I stand in it but wherever it is I hold that in high regard. LOL Great job Donna, this should really move you up. :)

Donna, think you shouldn't have fear to lose your place in the Foofy club at all (lol). Escapade is a beautiful interruption of your present series. Regards, Cornelius

This is such a delicate image Donna, and because of that, it is one of my favorite flower photo's i have seen here. The soft black to green background makes the flower realy stand out peacefully. (In a lot of cases, picture postings of flowers have such bad backgrounds) It is a sample of how a flower should be shot. The tiny droplet works wonders as well of course as does the light in this image over the soft pink petals. Wonderfull shot..
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
