I think, and was taught, that there are some scenes, and especially portraits that should only be taken on the vertical. In this case, I feel you are completely correct. I love the layered look of all that delicate color. Excellent take, my friend. :)

Looks like a nice night for an evening!! 8~D

The color offerings look a wee over-saturated...you do that?? Still, a striking place DJ!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .

Randy, I shoot in RAW format, so I always have to increase the saturation a little or the photo looks flat. But the one I uploaded does not look this saturated. It's actually a little lighter than this. :/

Donna, Great shot. Lovely layers of color. Somehow our sunsets don't look as pretty. Nice job. Terry

The lighting is nothing short of fabulous! I love the layered look of the landscape and the yellow light of the sun resembles a hot air balloon. This is beautiful!!

Donna, you did good with this sunset. And lucky you to have another Tuscan one! This has the appearance of an impressionist painting, especially the beautiful foreground. You caught the sun at a lovely point. Gorgeous pastel yellow and peach colours of the sunset. A most beautiful end of the day :)
