Ever forget to recharge your batteries? Thank goodness the old Coolpix 800 as at the bottom of the camera bag when we arrived in Stockholm.

I'll have to remember that trick and you can tell that the beauty in this picture comes from the eye of the photographer. Excellent composition.

Three really nice elements in this one... the white building with the interesting roof and cupola, the brown-orange building with the arched windows and the statue of someone medieval. The problem with this pic is that the statue is obscuring the cupola and it is obscure itself. It could be that those really dark shadows are a function of the camera, dunno me. I wonder what 3 steps to the left would have done... probably lost some of the sky interest as well as not seeing the statue head-on. Looks like a difficult subject choice. Nice intense color and good clarity.
