Native dancers at the cliff dwellings near Manitou Springs, CO, strut their stuff. Slowed the shutter speed down to 1/200 to try to create a sense of motion and didn't even notice when the young girl popped up into the scene. :-/

She's fascinated by what she's seeing and so am I...this turned out not only to be a great action shot, but when you take into consideration that youngster watching...it's also a great people shot.

EDIT: Of course I'm speaking of the young lady in the background :)

I am impressed by the arrany and brightness of the colors. I know I would love to be attendance at such a dance. I am sure they are fascinating to watch and I like the way you caught the action of the fellow on the right.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Neat shot Don. I have seen these shows at this place too and they are really quite spectacular and well done. Just as your photo is! :o)

I too in joy the motion depicted here. It would not be the same though without all the people watching. They really add a sense of interest to the subject.
