I saw this one in the voting booth early this morning and I had to give it a 10. I love the focus on the dancer, the bright colors and the feeling of stop action to perfection. Sometimes I miss the southwest when I see images like this, but then Colorado cannot be classified as anything other than in a class by itself!

Very well done photo Don. These native american dances are really something fantastic to behold.

Very nice, again, Don. I would love to see this performance in person. I've been to Manitou Springs, but didn't get to see this.

Great! Is that a Native American dwelling too? I like the design of it. What an appreciation of color the orignal peoples of this land have. I am enjoying this post.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
