Another in element in the digital conversion effort is the descent into the Grand Canyon of the Colorado river along Bright angel trail. This photograph was taken July 7, 1980 shortly before 10am. Coconina looks very small in this early stage of the decent. That little pile of rocks will continue to grow into an awe inspiring conglomeration of limestone and Redwall. It is hard to resist the temptation to go climb this beauty, but be forewarned: the rock is crumbly and dangerous to climb.

Don, very impressive. Think I've given you already in my previous comments my opinion about the digital conversion effort. But think this is an excellent example showing us that it was very worhtwhile doing it. Thanks, as you did not only yourself a pleasure but your Caedes friends as well.
