Actually, I'm the one who fizzed, not the sloes. I had a senior moment with yesterday's posts that just compounded itself. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have imposed on any of my subscribers. I'll just blame it on Texas weather

It snowed... that's right, snowed Monday night. By the time I took this shot yesterday, it was shirtsleeve weather, again. Big changes for this little mind.

I liked the contrast of a dormant tree next to the wild sloe in bloom. Since blooming is the first step in producing a sloe, I guess you could call this a slow, sloe gin fizz. (ta-da-boom)

Enjoy

I like the constrasts; the state of life in the trees and the black and white of the trees. I also like the diagonal created by the line of sight between the two trees. I am in a perpetual state of "senior moment" so I have not, did not, pick-up on your difficulty with posts from yesterday!! lol.

I am going to 'ditto' everything casechaser and JQ have said here, as I totally agree with them. (I also have many senior moments of my own, so you're not alone!!) Well done!

Yep, great contrasts all right. And a very good presentation of them, also.
