These blooms look almost too perfect to be real. You have caught them at their best Don and they look magnificant! Superb shot and lovely contrast between all the colours. Well done!

Wow, I guess this replaces the last ones you posted, but I don't see those in your gallery now. These are so clear and quite lovely, without a doubt and again look spectacular against the blue sky. I know there's an Orange Blossom Special, but I'm not clever enough to write lyrics. These are prized subjects for Oriental Brush Painting though.
Outstanding photo Don. Great composition and clarity. As for the song, I remember, when I was stationed in Taiwan, a patriotic song by the name of "The Plum Blossom." I do not believe the word "Special" was in the title, but am I close?
This is marvelous. I guess I've never seen a plum blossom before, so I can only tell you by loking here that this one certainly looks like it's special.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
For some reason the wild plums disappeared from this area. They used to be everywhere and now I can't remember the last time I saw one. A lovely capture. Make some plum jelly in the Summer.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
