The 1964 Winter Olympic Games were hosted by Innsbruck, Austria. The Austrian mint produced a coin featuring a ski jumper that caught my attention. The reverse of the 50-Schilling coin contains all the wappen, or coats of arms for the Austrian states or Lands.

A special thanks goes to Sabine(.blumie) for her help in identifying the shields associated with each state.

The background contains the Austrian flag and the wappen in order of the shields on the coin proceeding clockwise from the lower left. They are: I'll go from left to right: Burgenland, Kaernten (Carinthia), Niederoesterreich (Lower Austria), Oberoesterreich (Upper Austria), Salzburg, Steiermark (Styria), Tirol (Tyrol), Vorarlberg, Wien (Vienna)

Enjoy.
