A group of young "monks" on a school field trip joined us in the ancient sanctuary near the remains of the Presbytery. In the distance is the nave and west wall.

This is truly a beautiful shot of this building and I like how the eye is drawn to the arch window at the end of that long lawn. Great shot Don!

You chose a good spot for this shot Don
Perhaps your struggling a little with overcast skies (we all do) :o) The young Monks enjoying themselves here is a rare bonus, the ruins remind me of Glastonbury Abbey quite a bit.

Don, some times ago you was very helpful by 'teaching' me how to deal with some possibilities in PS. Think it's my turn now to give you any advice, lol. But's it's fully up to you of course to ignore that advice!
Your image is, without any doubt, interesting and wonderful. Suppose however you can make it even somewhat better by using some of Owd Bob's tricks. Please follow this link to determine whether his 'sky tutorial' is appropriate for your image or not.
Best regards, Cornelius.

A lovely shot once again Don. I do agree with Cornelius, I think this would look even better if you replaced the sky.
Very nice work!

Thanks, Jan. "The Young Monks" was one of the best class-on-the-grass event's I've been around. Very well behaved. A credit to their parents and teachers.
