This one of the original red crepe myrtles the wife planted a couple of years ago. A striking splash of color to decorate our back yard.

Hey Don, it is wonderful to see these familiar flowers. I've missed them. I had hoped to see the Pyrocanthea...can you put it back on? I miss some of the Southern flowers so much, and even tho up here in Oregon, we have others, I loved the unique ones in the south. This Red Myrtle is just lovely as can be. You got it so rich and gorgeous. Red is a hard colour to capture perfectly but yu did it..nice stuff..verena

Nice little bit of shadow in there, Don. Your wife is a smart lady. This makes quite a splash. It is also a very interesting plant with the bundles and buds and yellow anthers.
