Last weekend, the wife grabbed me by the ear and took me on a horseback ride along the San Antonio River about 10 miles south of The Alamo. I love the rugged beauty of this part of the country, especially when the temperature drops into the mid-80's in the autumn.

That sky is amazing. The trees are a beautiful green too. Wonderful landscape that seems to be thriving in the warm weather. A horseback ride sounds like fun. I've never been on a horse in my life!

Is that sky for real Don??!! My gosh, it's magnificent!!! It's been a long long time since I've been to San Antonio, but I will always remember how much I liked it there. And to go on horseback, how romantic!!! A very gorgeous photo..Verena

Mid eighties Don - we are having low forties here! The sky looks unusually dark blue here. Very nice post.

A beautiful landscape Don and it must have been a great way of seeing it from the horse back.
