You did a good job capturing the moment when the sun peaks over the ridge. It really puts the viewer in the moment. I think that's what we all strive for isn't it?
You might want to have a look through the site's "Rules of Composition" in the "Other Stuff" area. It really helped me a lot, and I suggest it to people whenever I can. It can make this image more like "Horseshoe Bay" and "Warm Fuzzy Crossroads", two excellent photos.
