Wow this looks like you took it almost exactly when I climbed the West Face route (the thin snow slope straight up the middle of the mountain). I was up there July 26. Brings back some good memories.

Hey Bill, this really looks familiar and what a great shot. My wife's daughter lived in Bend, Oregon and we are in Walnut Creek, Ca. and having driven to Bend about 7 times one has to drive right by Mt. Shasta. Was this taken late in the fall because the snow is almost gone? Of course the snow is NEVER gone entirely from this beautiful mountain as we all know?!! I have a shot of this peak taken from Weed in April although it looks like the dead of winter because of a early spring snow that I may have to post although it was taken with a standard camera before I had my digital one but maybe I'll spruce it up a bit and post it. Either way, I’ve taken way to much so much time/space here so I’ll bid you ado:):) Very nice photo Bill!!
