You know, at first I was thinking, oh the bird is so small in the photo... etc etc... then I really just looked at the whole shot and realized there was something I just liked. The bird is a small fragile thing in the big wide outdoors . . wish I could put it to words better, there is a simplicity and beauty about a shot like this.

Ah, so you will be annoyed by any comments about how tiny teeny weeny the wee little birdie is? Yes? I have no problem with the bird being to this scale, it still serves to shift the overall energy of the image, however, dead centre, big or small, is not making the compositional most of the bird. I too like the angles.

I absolutely love this photo... I love the angle of the barbed wire, the clarity of the image, and the colors are so warm and beautiful! Wonderful shot, looks great as my new background image :)
