Can't tell you why I'm fascinated by this type of shot, but I am. I was using a big lens so the DOF is rather shallow, thus some smearing. Anyway, it is what it is.

At first glance, this is a very simple picture, but then you start to see the subtle difference in colors and textures. Faved.

I like the simplicity of the scene that belies the ruggedness of life on the prairie farm. Thad

Beautiful simplicity with good detail and the touches of snow add an extra element to a very delightful photo.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I love this shot, it is just like I see each day as I drive the countryside. The lovely color to the dead grasses and the angle of the fence. Even though the grass is dry the color is so rich. Wonderful capture.
