This is a more rare variety of dogwood than the usual snow-white ones. It's hard to find these, but when you do, they're spectacular!

I like photos that teach me something, such as this one. I think that this shot could benefit from some boosting of the gamma and the contrast, though, to make the flowers stand out more from the background.

Dogwoods! One of my favorites. We had them growing up in Connecticut, though I've never seen the pink ones. Delicate and delightful.

Lovely flowers, great composition with the placement of the blossoms leading the eye all over the screen. Nice (if fortituous) color contrast in the pink petals and the bark background. Entire thing needs more light...the general effect is not as "Spring-y" as it could be. Hope they're still blooming! Go back and take another!
