Well, you know what they say Don, "once in a blue moon"! I love this capture. It makes a great desktop in the office with the lights off. There is cool detail of the moon's surface and I like how you made the moon off-centered. Way cool. Thanks :~)

You have balanced the image very wisely. The sorrounding darkness is the key player of this image and the moon is nicely placed in it. And nice to see that moon is with good detail. Good work!

Hah! ,, (babble x endlessly) .. I used to shoot the moon with a teleconverter (back in the day) .. the extra two stops swallowed by the TC resulted in a slightly fuzzy moon for me but I was happy to do it at the time (70 - 300 zoom + 2x teleconverter gave me a 1/60th sec exposure)

Blue works. ;) I'll probably use this more than once in a blue moon. For those days when my desktop really needs a place for folders. Happens alot! I like the detail and the positioning. I also like the crescent capture.
