Image of the St. Louis Gateway Arch taken using available lighting and a long exposure time. An interesting by-product of this image are the reflections of the glass-fronted buildings of downtown St. Louis, MO
The more you look at this photo the more you see. I like how the reflection in the office windows shows what is behind the photographer while at the same time, gives the illusion that the road continues on in front. Whether this was intentional or not, was well captured! Brilliant!
May your troubles be fewer, Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness Come through your door.
Ownership of land is, at best, a useful human fiction.
I think the "interesting by-product" of the building reflections is the best part of this picture! I really enjoy a different way of seeing a city at night. I'd love to see you do this sort of thing again...only concentrate more of the pic real estate in such reflections and less on the black night and on things in the distance. I wonder what would happen in Las Vegas with this technique.
Psalm 1:3 "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."
I like the perspective of this photo. And taking a night shot is great, I wish I would try it more often, I'm not good at it all. You got the lighting just right. Nice shot. Verena
