Well I finally got another bird on my feeder. I think it is a female cardinal nut I' m not really sure.

This is a male Don and quite a handsome one too.Looks like he's spotted you. Glad to see the bird feeder is working out so well for you. Still no white squirells?. Very nice post with great clarity.

The male normally has the brighter plumage in birds to pull attention from the female & the eggs. Another nice bright shot Don!

I'd have to say that's definately a male. By what I've seen, females tend to be alot "browner'.
