I thought I would try to get a painted effect by taking the shot with the snow coming down and using a fast shutter speed. Hope you like it

Very cool, it does have a painterly effect. Nice one.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Ooooh, I like this one. Very beautiful. Kind of a painted effect, but more like a winder day dream type effect---if that makes any sense, lol.

Fantastic snowy scene. This does have a painted appearance which is very appealing. The wintery colors are lovely and there's a softness to this beautiful view. Excellent work Don! :*))
