I can't believe how close I can get to some of the squirrels that eat from my feeders. This guy was only about 5 feet away and didn't move hardly at all when I moved around. Hope you like him.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Don, I can't help it, but this image reminds me to a mad song sung by Ray Stevens called 'Mississippi squirrel revival' in which a boy caught a squirrel, put him in a shoe box and brought him into church. Your image shows how tame squirrels can be. Very cute image and well done (as usual!), Regards, Cornelius
After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
I can't believe you got this close either Don. They scatter like the wind as soon as they hear me opening the back door LOL. Exceptional capture that is amazing in detail and DOF. Good job on this my friend.
foofoo and I have had the same experience it seems. I had one right up on my deck today, but I couldn't even poke my head out of the door before he ran off. I love the backlighting you've gotten here as it really shows off the clarity you got.
Well Don if they are at your feeder they are not going to "bite the hand that feeds them"...they can be tolerant of people if you are not posing a threat to them...this is a very good shot...gerry
