To get better shots of birds I have also been falowing this blue heron around as well as the Canadian Geese. I would see him a few times out in the open but then he was gone. Today I went looking in a place I thought he might be and BINGO ! So here he is in is private place, hope you like it.

I started making pictures round about march 2006 and then stopped in feb 2007 because I sold my camera to Harm Gunnink who is also a member. I'am now saving money for the sony alhpa a100. Hope you like the pics P.S. is it maybe possible if you have time to also give suggestion on how to improove my pictures but compliments are also good!

It's very nice. Don't you just love it when you find your photography subject just waiting for you to shoot that perfect shot, when you have been trying to shot it for so long :-]

Very good shot Don...good detail and composition...that is what you have to do to get good shots of these water birds...study their habits...they usually come back to same spots...gerry
