I too think it looks great with the flowers there I think it adds a lot to the whole image and provides a grea contrast with the dramatic sky. Very good picture.

A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"

I think the composition works because it seems to naturally lead your view from right to left (or close to distant) and at each stage (flowers, building, sky) there is something very interesting and enjoyable to look at. NICELY DONE!
