I took this photo more to capture the phenomenon than anything else. I was intrigued by the visual rhythm of these birds, perched on the beach like a bunch of apostrophes, resting but unquestionably set to disperse at the slightest disturbance. I assumed I would have one chance to shoot at the most and I was right.

I agree with your observation of the "visual rhythm". Not just the birds but also with the angle of the shot and the seaweed in the background which seems to continue the visual aspect of the birds. I never realized before how nature made the birds blend with the colors at the shore and your photo has well demonstrated that fact. Good shot !

Great capture of this "birds' parade". I suppose they go according to the saying "Unity is strength". You were just in time to catch them on camera like this.

If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect, then why practice?

I like the angle and the lines the birds form. Very nice shot!

Lots of great detail and clarity. The colors and lighting are spot on. Great post.
