This photo was taken in the Fleming Museum, Burlington, Vermont. You'll have to know Hank William's old country song to get the drift. The painting on the wall is of Mount Mansfield. The museum was an entertaining and educational place to visit, and photograph, on a cold, rainy afternoon.

Hello, Edwin....

I'm not a Hank Williams buff; so I have no idea who Kaw-liga's Cousin was. I think the colors are spot on. The focus looks a little off to me. Was this a hand held shot in a dark environment or were you groping the Greek goddess in the foreground? I have an eye appointment tomorrow to get some new glasses. So don't worry about the focus. It's probably my old eyes and the Jack Daniels I had for breakfast.

An interesting composition of your photo. A great sense of loneliness in your shot and good representation of the feelings in Hank's song. Nice lines and angles in the photo. Seems to be a lot of graininess in the image, but it somehow seems to fit the mood. Thanks for sharing.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson
