This photo was taken on the Gulf coast in Florida last winter. It's a simple scene of course with basically four horizontal components, the silhouetted land, strip of sea, band of illuminated clouds, and blue sky. I was tempted to remove some blue sky so it didn't halve the picture but then I'd be stuck with the proportions of a comic strip. Anyway, this scenery is where I'm going before long.

This one's a beauty, Edwin. Doug is probably correct, but I didn't understand most of his commentary. My only problem with this shot is the edge around the sun. It just look too real.

Very nice scenic photo with a stunning looking sky and the picture as a nice feel of distance to it as well.

A split neutral density filter would have helped with the sky/cloud detail, but the HDR plug-in does a better and controlable recovery.
This is a beautiful shot, and I spent the kids Winter break in the Treasure Island area for a number of years.
