As our boat plied its way along the Seine, about forty tourist/photographers leaned way over the rail to capture this scene. I was pleased not to be among those who fell in the water. I realize that compositional cohesion would have been improved if, as a preliminary, I had twisted the golden horses around to face into the photo instead of leaving them facing outward, but Parisians make such a fuss about these things I refrained.
