One more sip before I go. The Hummers have left Missouri. This one was taken a few weeks ago, the last one was here 2 days ago but he was from Chicago, and just stopped by for a fill up before migrating south for the Winter. I know cause he was wearing a little Cubs jersey.

This is good Eggz. I just posted one yesterday and mentioned you. This is why I posted what I did. You are the best at capturing this bird. Was he swept out of Chicago? lol

Love your narrative.

As I said in a comment to Tick yesterday, you are so lucky to have these wonderful and exotic birds feeding in your gardens for part of the year. Wonderful shot as ever Gregg and I liked the narrative.

A wonderful stop action hummer here, Gregg! That Nikon is really a fine camera too. What lens were you using for this shot?

I can sit two feet from the feeders, until I have a camera in my hand. At that point they decide to hit the spout on the other side of the feeder from me. Beautiful freeze, Remember what your shutter speed was?
