I was looking at New Images gallery and this lonely tree caught my attention.Simplicity makes it beautiful. Very nice winter image, it conveys well feeling of the cold season.

I agree, the offset position of the tree adds interest & the simplicity of your image is very compelling. A subtle & quietly elegant image...well done !

Very nice and lonely capture, the shape of the tree looks really interesting and match perfectly with the rest of the scenery, well done again!!

Now there’s a simple image that’s hard to ignore. The soft background tones really show the tree of well. And what a grand shape that tree has too, I would love to have climbed it when I was young.

Hmm, besides the tree ... which is a great capture by you ... I really like the illuminated area of the sky in the left hand side. It seems to add a little more depth and suggests strongly, the contrast between the cold and the warmth.

I am curious as to how you achieved the soft 'look' here.
