Ibrim falls, a hidden beauty in deep forest. More than one hour of walk away from nearest village. This village -Turgutlar- is nearly abandoned. Unlucky me! My camera's batteries exhausted and memory filled. Could not take final fall which is the highest one. This fall is near the lower end of cascades. And another luck! lost in the jungle for 1.5 hours. When I found my way to my car, sun was allready down.

Oh Tanju that's so sad! But on the other hand, you did get a most beautiful photo of these waterfalls. SOmetimes we have to appreciate just that much, because we love taking photos, we might have to put up with some other things. But, its hard to not have the battery charged and memory filled. I've done that before too! I learned a big lesson. But then you got lost??!!That's a bit scary in the jungle!! Please take good care of you and make sure you check your camera and take a compass along!! to guide you as to where you are:) The photo you've taken is so lovely, it must have been very peaceful! Even with the flow of the water. I like very much that you have the big rocks in the front. I am just glad you didn't get you or your camera wet!!----Verena

That picture is so awesome, I don't know what I could suggest to help it. I agree however, about taking something so you don't get lost, a GPS another alternative perhaps?

This shot is absolutely stunning. Sorry you got lost, but sense I'm brain damaged I'm pretty much lost all the time.

Ehm... From the sad part to funny part... Actually it was not my fault to be lost. I just did want not to break my wife's hearth for her selection of path at one point. She was born in that abandoned village and her family had moved to city when she was 4 or so. And I learned MY lesson! Don't trust your wife's orientation! :)

Les, in google maps search 'Menemen Turgutlar Türkiye'. The sign points 3000ft/600m south-east of the village. And for ibrim falls here is coordinates : +38° 44' 3.16", +27° 9' 48.97"
