After a heavy rain this flower was hiding under a large leaf of the plant. Nearly every day I pass by this plant but it was so pale and dry. Rain had made it a wonderful target to take photos. (Nikon D3000 + Tamron 70-300, 300mm, f5.6, 1/200, ISO 400, -1EV, handheld, shutter priority, macro mode)

I like how you present this image. The dark background highlights the beautiful flower in a very good way. Good lighting, sharpness and color in the image. Very well done Tanju.

Nice shot, it looks like it's almost alive (I thought it was an insect 1st).

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Beautiful shot Tanju. I'm still working on getting used to the 300 mm lens. Just have one question. Are you using any software program to edit your photos or are they raw images? Just interested because I'm new to digital. Most of mine are raw images with some cropping. Thanks for sharing. Joey
