What a wonderful view of Izmir with the blue waters, sail boats, the hillside apartments and the big mts in the distance. I wish to visit again someday when I was there in March 2006 the bay, boats, waterside cafes and the wide sidewalk with the people of Izmir enjoying the mild night made a unforgettable impression on me..thanks so much Tanju! This is a wonderful looking photo,I do like how the background is slightly out of focus bring the eye to the attention too the boats. The light and colours are lovely as well, especial the colours in the water and buildings in the background.
A marvelous photo, Tanju! I love the artful arrangement of sailboats in the foreground and middle distance, and the city and hills in the background are terrific. Great depth of field and wonderful composition. Well done!
I am not sure why..but this photo gives me the feeling of chilly weather - maybe because of the many blue shades. Beautiful scene though and great capture!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Amazing composition and colours !I love how you managed to frame all three boats in the foreground and then those tiny ones in the background!Master class!
I have sailed on the Sea of Marmara, back in my Air Force days. I was the total novice and went out with two experienced people. I still remember how enjoyable it was and, though it seemed like we were barely moving, both space and time went by so very quickly. Thanks for prompting the memory with your fine picture. ~~ John
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
