To all my Caedes friends. Sorry, I've been too busy and tired at work, had some health problems (over :) ) and couldn't post any photos nor comment your photos. Finally hot days are over here and I can take some photos, whenever I could find time from work. This may last for a few weeks more. I always looked at your beautiful photos even though I coudn't comment on them.

185mm, f9, 1/100, ISO 400, P Mode, Nikon D3000, Tamron 70-300, Macro mode, Handheld.

Tanju

Note: I've learned the name of this flower. Local name is "Selluka", in Latin "Vigna Caracalla"

The photographer returns..

Sorry to hear that your work is keeping you that busy, Tanju. And but of course, same goes for not having been feeling well.

Nice to 'see' you, first and foremost ... and once again your work behind the lens.

Very nice shot. Clarity and focus are wonderful.

I particularly enjoy the colour palette in the background/bokeh. Along with the shapes/forms present there. 'Intriguing' in a word and as a descriptor.

Curious, is it 'cheating' to orient/present a flower/plant that is not keeping with it's natural growth?

"Curly" - Portrait Orientation

That aside..

Don't work too hard.. we shall be right here. And again, first and foremost ... be well. :o)

Beautiful color and shapes to these buds and flowers. The diagonal arrangement makes a very nice composition to me. The insects add some interest as well. Beautiful Photo.

Tanju - I am glad your health issues are behind you. Hopefully the time spent at work will subside and leave you with time to relax. The dof is magnificent in this photo. I like how you composed the scene with the focal point flower offset and angled. Great work, my friend. Thad

Have read that you had some health problems, Tanju. Really hope that you've recovered completely from them. Take care, my friend because health is priority # 1. Caedes has a far lesser priority and please keep in mind that commenting is a right and not an obligation.

Thanks for this wonderful post with its delicate and subtle tones. Well done.
