Just like it's name this is weirdest plant I've ever seen. It was a surprise to find this plant near Ibrim Falls. The length of the 'flower' was about 1 meter.
F10, 1/400, ISO400, Nikon D3000, Nikkor 18-55@46mm.

Tanju - If I recall, this flower produces a strong odor that is, well, vulgar. From this photo, it is quite a beautiful large bloom.

It is indeed a strange looking plant that rather lives up to it's name if it smells nasty. The purple 'petal' looks quite velvety.
