This is the Scott Bridge in Townshend, Vermont. It is a classic New England covered bridge, from a slightly different viewpoint. The bridge is closed to auto traffic, and is now a historic site. I was so impressed with what .cjperisho did in his 'Microcosmos IR Rework' (in my faves) that I decided to try it on this photo. To give you the specs - he said he had read in Make magazine that Ansel Adams was the first to improve his black and white photography by using colored filters, specifically red. The article said that the same could be accomplished in Photoshop. He added a red photo filter on his shot before converting to gray scale, as I did here. I really like the result. Please let me know what you think. Enjoy and I appreciate your comments. Eli

I posted one similar to this back in the fall, but have since deleted it. This looks great in B&W. That looks to be a very long covered bridge. Very nice picture, again, Eli.

I really love the lines in this capture leading the eye to the end of the bridge. Just shows what a bit of red photo filter can do. Well done!

I've heard of Light at the end of the tunnel. Now it's Bridge.
Nice Work Eli.

Ooooh I love this! It's so mysterious and dark :] And then it ends with a light at the end of the tunnel- uber cool!

Thanks for the comment on "Treasure Box" :]

A thing becomes beautiful from the thought of its absence.

Black and white was the right choice for this image. Well done.

When I saw this, it reminded me of this bridge by this park where I used to play with my brothers and my cousin when we were younger. Great image, and it brings back memories from my childhood as well. It's one of those places that is magical to me, and it looks a lot like the bridge in your picture.
