One evening last August a friend took us out in his boat on the Mira River here in Cape Breton. As we drifted in the middle of the river after running out of fuel I took some shots of the descending sun. This one showing the cloud formation is my favourite. (Fortunately, his wife suspected what had happened and soon came to our rescue with more fuel.)

Nice capture. Some good detail in the waves and the cirrus clouds. I can sense the motion of the waves against what appears to be the backend (or possibly frontend) of a storm moving along, with the characteristic high level clouds being whipped off the top of the moisture updraughts.

Nice image Ian, and he must have a history of running out of fuel. Lol! Gave you the chance to get some shots though. Very Nice. Sandi♥
