oh-so inviting looking plant in the garden at a local park...we can blame a long hot summer in drought for the colour but the spikes - eek! only a couple of minor spikings in the process of getting the picture! :)

The only criticism I would have here, being a super-fan of this type of macro, is that you don't have a defined focal point. My eye wanders a bit more than it should, and to what I feel is a less interesting subject. Maybe a few feet more to the left would have done it. Anyway, well done!
