This is the third photo I've posted from Mt Rigi, Switzerland. I never know quite how to present veritcal orientation pictures like this, first time I've done it myself, so feedback or suggestions on that point most welcome! Please comment. Or vote. Or just enjoy :)

The framing here is excellent. Way better then the average boarder you usually see here on caedes. (Those I care less about as a rule.) I think it is because it adds considerably to the whole (without competing too much about the attention) and are just not a way to fill empty space in the easiest possible way. It could perhaps work without the shading too but don't consider that an advice will you. ^_^ Striking scenery too naturally. But you knew that, right? ;)

I agree with Klas, this is presented very well. I like the shadowing! I guess personal preferences vary!

I personaly have enjoyed all the framing challenges that have presented themselves on Caedes. I like images without too depending on the composition and whether it can stand on it's own or not. You had many choices here and I like the one you chose. Keeping the background lighter did not take away from the focus of your main image and it's a beautiful clean presentation. Putting the shading around it in my opinion brought it all together smoothly. Last but not least, the photo is a winner. Love how the trees, clouds, fog, mountain and sky are all so clearly represented. Good job!
