The picture was taken in a preserved railway museum in Wales. I like how the cobweb in the foreground adds to the effect, although I'm not sure how the overall 'effect' should be described.

I think I like what you did with this image. By focusing on the barrier in the foreground you emphasized the isolation of the subjects' existence. By leaving the subjects out of focus you allowed us to write our own stories of what we're seeing. The choice of black and white allowed us to see the shapes without unnecessary distractions. Really the only things iI might change would be the right-hand light cropped out, and the strange concave look of the image. Maybe a Photoshop image adjustment effect?

Very nice work! I like how you focused on the barbed wire instead of the trolley's. Choosing black and white is a nice touch also. Thanks for sharing.... carissa :D

Nice textures! I think I might have tried to take it a step further in PS and actually screened back the trains to make them even less prominent. Nice work!
